TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. How to Enter
To participate in any of the competitions, entrants must select the correct answer for each competition entered and complete the form with a valid name, address (no P.O. Boxes), postcode, daytime phone number (including area code), and email address.

2. Entry
Only one entry is allowed per person. All entries become the sole property of South West Tourism (hereafter SWT) and promotion partners, receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned.  SWT is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, mutilated, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible.

3. End Dates
Each prize draw ends at 5pm on Monday 1 March 2010.

4. Eligibility
Participation open only to those aged 18 and over as of 1 March 2010. Employees and directors of SWT, advertising and PR agencies and their immediate families (parents, children or spouse) or members of the same household of such employees/members are not eligible to enter.

5. Drawing
One winner for each prize package will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. Drawing will be conducted by SWT whose decisions on all matters related to this prize draw will be final and binding. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the prize draw.

6. Prize
The prize is subject to availability and must be taken within the dates specified. Please refer to the relevant terms and conditions below. Not to be taken in conjunction with any other offer. Unless stated, all prizes DO NOT include transportation and so winners are expected to make their own arrangements. More details will be provided to the actual winners or to anyone else upon request.

7. Notification
The winners will be notified by phone or by email. If any winner cannot be contacted, if prizes are returned as undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with these and requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Limit one prize per person or household. The winner has 30 days after being notified to claim the prize. If no acknowledgement is received within 30 days a new winner will be drawn.

8. Conditions
participating, all entrants and winners agree to release and hold harmless SWT, their advertising and promotion agencies, and all employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the prize draw, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize draw -related activity and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery insofar as this is allowed by law.
Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. In the case of unavailability of any part of the prize weekends, SWT reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. There is no purchase or sales presentation required to participate.

9. Additional Terms
SWT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this prize draw should causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the prize draw. In such case, SWT will select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken. SWT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the prize draw or website.

Additional Terms and Conditions

In addition to the general terms and conditions, the following terms apply for the separate prizes:

1. Newquay competition  

  1. The accommodation, which has a value in excess of £1,500, is courtesy of high quality self-catering holiday home provider, Blue Chip Vacations.  It consists of one week at 52 Bredon Court, Newquay. It is subject to availability, must be booked in advance and must be taken before the end of 2010.  The apartment is self-catering and no meals are provided.
  2. Maximum of 4 x Air Southwest return flights between the winner's closest airport served by the airline and Newquay. Times and dates of booking are all subject to availability. Please refer to http://www.airsouthwest.com/conditions/ for airline's standard terms and conditions.
  3. Lusty Glaze adventure day - age and weight restrictions apply. The adventure day is non transferable and is open until September 2010.

2. Exeter competition  

  1. Accommodation is for 2 nights B&B for 2 people in a choice of 3 accommodation providers: Mercure Southgate, Garden House or Silversprings. The break must be booked in advance and taken before the end of 2010. All accommodation choices are offered subject to availability and more details can be found on http://www.exeterandessentialdevon.com/shopping/places-to-stay-in-exeter
  2. 1 night's evening dinner is included for 2 people at The Conservatory and booking is required to guarantee a table on the preferred night.  The contents of luxury food hamper is left at the discretion of Exeter and Essential Devon, but will have a minimum value of £50.
  3. Admission to Exete's Underground Passages and Exeter Cathedral are both for 2 people and entry is subject to availability and opening times.
  4. 2 tickets for a local music or theatre event of winner's choice will be provided up to the value of £50 in total. This will need to be organised at the time of booking and is subject to availability. Winner will be provided with means to select a preferred event after the draw.

3. Gloucester competition  

  1. Accommodation is for 2 nights for 2 people over any weekend in 2010, subject to availability. Guests will receive dinner, bed and breakfast on both nights with a Champagne Package and an Executive Room (including chocolates, robes and slippers)
  2. £100 gift card is for Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet Centre and is valid at participating stores.

4. Torquay Competition   

  1. The accommodation is for 2 people in the Honeymoon Suite at the Grand Hotel, Torquay for 2 nights over a weekend, subject to availability.
  2. 3 course dinner is provided on both nights in The Gainsborough, with selections from the daily Table d'Hote Menu.
